This is a bridal that I shot some time back but never got around to editing and posting it. The stars are Elvin and Emily. Despite the very bad weather, I think we managed to accomplish much because they were really game - and I got to visit interesting places to shoot heh 
So what does that have to do with the title of the post? Nothing actually. It’s because I just finished watching Singapore losing to China in table tennis at the Olympics. We’ve come such a long way - really - that silver is as good as gold. I hope it’s not the last time Singapore gets onto the podium at the Olympics in my lifetime. It’s really quite amazing seeing Singapore there now at the presentation ceremony.
I’m glad that sports will, in a small way, gain some recognition in our society after this. In the same way, I hope that wedding photographers here will get the recognition that they deserve too.
So getting our butts kicked is not a bad thing. As a wise man once said, “People who get their butts kicked will eventually roll further”
